THIN BLUE LINE BALL
Message from Christine:
As a Police Officer's wife, I have seen the difficult and trying year that 2020 was on our Law Enforcement. I feel that our men and women in blue and their significant others deserve a night to unwind and put this difficult year behind them.

Message from the Chief:
Greetings and welcome! This is a quick note of thanks for your interest in our 2021 Thin Blue Line Ball! As we all know, 2020 has been a year of unprecedented challenges and social corrosion that have deeply affected countless American and Hoosier police officers and police families. It is my pleasure to welcome you and encourage you and a guest to attend this special event, which promises to be a great way to get away from the pressures and stress of our honorable profession, even if for just an evening.
This will not be an occasion filled with speeches, awards and applause. Instead, it will be a chance for us to simply relax, to enjoy each other’s company, to laugh, to have a delicious dinner and drinks, to dance to great music and to bid on silent auction items… an all-around enjoyable evening. All proceeds will be donated to our incredible State F.O.P. Memorial Team, which we all know is an amazing group of selfless LEOs and friends who immediately respond to support Indiana police families, departments and communities that experience the devastation of a line of duty death of a hero. Clearly, this is an exceptional cause to support.
Discounted rates are available at nearby hotels, so consider making it part of a Valentine’s Day weekend getaway! Hope to see you there! Be safe in all you do!
David Hofmann, Chief of Police
Lawrence Police Department
