The dress. The venue. The bridal party. The décor. The love story.
Danielle and Jacob chose the song, “Speechless” by Dan and Shay as their first dance song, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect fit for the day. Every detail, down to the handpicked Bible verses the couple chose for the day, left everyone speechless.
The bride and groom chose The Industry as their venue. Danielle and Jacob chose the perfect color scheme and décor to make it look like something out of a wedding magazine. The venue had large barn tables and metal chairs to accompany the rustic feel of the building. Danielle chose some simple eucalyptus, candles, gold, and silver finishing touches, and even brought in three chandeliers (that her handy Dad hung) for the simple décor.
The day began around 10 a.m. with the bridesmaids and bride arriving at the venue to begin their pampering! The Industry has a bridal room that is spacious enough for the bridesmaids and stylists, and even cute little accent pieces like a blue couch and stunning mirrors that make for perfect pictures. Danielle was as calm as can be and had this glow about her all day. Her happiness and excitement were something that was easily felt by anyone. Jacob and Danielle met when they were just kids, but it took a while for Jacob to win over Danielle’s heart. His persistence paid off, and she was so ready to marry to her lifelong sweetheart.
Jacob arrived later in the day and while he was calm and collected like Danielle, he was more than anxious to see his bride. They decided to wait to see each other until Danielle walked down the aisle, and the look on Jacob’s face when the barn doors opened was something I don’t think anyone will forget. Eileen Call Photography was their photographer, and I am sure she caught his reaction through pictures perfectly.
The Industry is unique in that during the ceremony guests can sit at the dinner tables. This is what Danielle and Jacob chose, and it made for a very romantic feel. Guests entered the building and were greeted by a sign that read “I have found the one whom my soul loves” Song of Solomon 3:4. After taking their seats, it wasn’t long until the bridal party walked down the aisle, along with a flower girl and ring bearer that stole the show in the cuteness department. The doors opened, the music played, and Danielle made her way down the aisle to her groom. The ceremony was short and simple, and they were announced as husband and wife…FINALLY! (Their cake topper read “finally,” in that after all of these years…they were finally together forever!)
Cocktail hour began as pictures of the bridal party took place. Danielle and Jacob snuck off for their own pictures with Downtown Indy as the background, and then it was time for dinner. Nonna’s by So Italian was the caterer for the night. Pieces of lasagna the size of your head, salad, and breadsticks were served. Danielle and Jacob also had a cake table that was incredible! It included a specialty cake from The Flying Cupcake and four other cakes from family friends…because they couldn’t just choose one! It’s not a bad problem to have to know so many people that make delicious (and beautiful) cakes! And for anyone who had a sweet tooth, there also was a huge pyramid of Long’s donuts to enjoy!
The first dances were danced, but what stole the show was the rap that was performed by family members of the bride and groom. Jacob actually had written a rap for Danielle in middle school, and it was a huge surprise for her when it had been remade and performed that night. Again, everyone was made “speechless” by this thoughtful gift for the bride and groom. The tables were moved to make the dance floor bigger, the music was turned up, and dancing took over the rest of the night. Danielle and Jacob had a sparkler send off to end the night, and then Danielle was surprised (as a gift from her parents) by a horse and carriage to carry them off to begin their happily ever after!
Danielle and Jacob, we are so incredibly happy for you, and we know that you will build a strong marriage surrounded by so many who love and care deeply for you. We are so thrilled we got to be a part of your “finally!”
