Indianapolis Public Library - Central Library I Indianapolis Wedding Planner

"Unique" is the perfect word I would use to describe the downtown Indianapolis Public Library. It is beautiful, sophisticated, elegant. and unlike any other venue. Zach and Brooke chose this spot for their December wedding, and while it rained instead of snowed, it still felt like we were in a winter love story witnessing their happily ever after.

I overheard Brooke say "I just love being able to hang out with all of my best friends" while everyone was getting ready that morning. There wasn't an ounce of stress in the Air B&B that the bride and her 10 bridesmaids got ready in that morning, and this was easily noticed by the time they spent on the couch singing to songs on the TV. Their was so much laughter in those rooms on that morning, and it was lovely to see a group of girlfriends celebrate their friend the way they did Brooke.

We see a lot of first looks with brides and grooms, but Zach may get the award for sweetest reaction ever. Not only was he in awe of his bride, but he wasn't afraid to hold back his tears. They were a stunning bride and groom, and I'm not at all surprised that he cried when he saw her for the first time.

Their ceremony was filled with guests dressed in black tie attire, and that really made it feel like a Christmas event. Brooke was led down the first set of stairs in the library by her father, and then joined to walk the rest of the way with her Stepfather on her other arm. I loved the way she incorporated both of them into her walk down the aisle, and I know they both loved it too.

Brooke and Zach said their vows a top a candlelit staircase. During their candle unity ceremony, they had candles available for all of their guests at their seats. Not only did Brooke and Zach light their unity candle. but each guest had theirs lit for a stunning unity ceremony.

The reception was held in the atrium of the library, and was decorated with soft lighting, velvet linens on the tables, greenery, candles, and hints of gold, black and burgundy. A band played as the bridal party was announced, and it truly was an utterly gorgeous evening.

Brooke and Zach, you two were incredible to work with, and it was a a joy to be a part of your winter wedding.
